I want to help people understand their potential in protecting themselves and their families. I want women and girls to feel confident in who they are, knowing they can protect themselves if they had to. Training myself enables me to really understand the struggles the students have, as I am a student also. Jiu Jitsu gives me a confidence mentally and physically and I want to strive to share that with others.

I first entered into martial arts, because my father was a California’s correctional officer, and he knew the importance of self-defense. I fell in love with martial arts. After the first time, I had an altercation with a bully, and I saw that my techniques work in real life. I love teaching Martial Arts now because I love to serve and help people grow. It’s my pleasure to be a steward of the Martial Arts.
